Anselmo and J.B. works for a travel agency. There they organize trips for several groups and organizations. Last weekend J.B. organized a special trip for a group of old folk. The trip was a success and Anselmo decided to pop in it to thank J.B. for what he had done.

Everything went like clockwork !!!

Anselmo I've just popped in to thank you very much for organizing last weekend's trip to the seaside for the old folk.

J.B.That's very kind of you Anselmo. Thanks a lot! They all seemed to enjoy it.
Anselmo They certainly did. Everything went like clockwork, in fact I don't think you could have done it better.
J.B.I'm not sure about that, there were one or two things that could have been improved.
Anselmo In a perfect world perhaps, but as far as I'm concerned it was a great success. So thank you again.

Explanation :

If you say that something happens like clockwork you mean that it happens without any problems or delays, or happens regularly.

Example : In Sweden the buses comes and goes  , like clockwork.
